California Trip

These are pics from my trip to California. Scott let me get away for a couple days for my 30th birthday. I had'nt been back to Cali since we left over 2 years ago. It was so much fun to see my friends. It was really relaxing, I needed that. Nice to take a break. I got to spend time with my good friend Shelly at her new place in Rancho Santa Margarita. We went to Mi Casa and In and Out. Her son Scotty and James are really good friends. He misses Scotty so much. Then I got to stay with Angie in Huntington Beach. She made me watch Twillight and Baby Mama. (Funniest movie I've seen in a long time by the way). We ate at Baja Fresh, and The Beach Pit. But the best was actually going to the beach. I took the beach for granted when I lived in Ca. But going back it was so nice. There is nothing like it. I think that's the thing I miss the most about California. Except friends of course. Lastly I got to see Janeen and her adorable kids. We went to our old hangout Wahoo's. We stayed up late watching movies and then went to the gym in the morning before I left. On our way to the airport we ate at In N Out again! I am so grateful for being able to get away without my kids for a couple days. I did actually miss them. The weirdest part was flying by myself. Kinda scary and boring. But I have a new outlook on my life and being a mother now. I hope to be able to do it more often. It's good for me. And them.
