Bubblegum!

I told myself one day I would write a book about all the crazy adventures my boys put me through on a daily basis. Well,I guess this is the closest thing I will ever get to writing a book so here goes. I know all you moms out there canrelate to this one. So I am taking a nice warm shower, my only 5 minutes of peace and quiet everyday away from the kids. And so I lock the door because James' friend Alex was over spending the night and I didn't want to you know traumatize the poor kid if they all ran in to ask me something. Needless to say it's a good thing I did because not even 2minutes later I hear James pounding on the door and screaming "MOM!" I'm like great! I yell back "what?" He blubbers something that I cant quite make out so I regretting get out of my warm shower to see what he so desperately needs. I'm thinking something better be on fire or someone better be bleeding or I'm gonna be mad! So, I get over to the door dripping wet and freezing in my towel and he says "can I have a piece of bubblegum?" No! I said. You have got to be kidding me.I was so mad. Later on I had to explain to James not to bother me with things that were not an emergency when I am in the shower or the answer would always be No! Aww the joys of parenthood.
