This was the first year I cooked a turkey and the whole Thanksgiving dinner all by myself. Well, sort of my mom helped a little. I baked two pumpkin pies from scratch and everything. Scott surprised us and came home early. I knew he would. My mom and dad came over, the rest if the family was in California so it was really quiet. But we had a good time considering James had strep throat and slept ALL day! Poor guy. My friend Stef and her husband and little girl were supposed to come over but decided not to when they heard James was sick. I don't blame them. We also got a little bit of snow through out the day. After dinner we sat around the fireplace watching movies. Then Sammy crashed out on the couch watching tv. We sure have a lot to be thankful for!
